Intimate Exposure

It was all Yvan’s fault. Yvan the Terrible, Shani called him. The world’s only half-Irish, half-Russian, all chauvinist soul food caterer. Yvan thought his waitresses looked better in low-cut French maid uniforms, except that instead of severe black fabric under their white lace aprons, they wore dresses made of Kinte cloth. He insisted it made them look “more ethnic”. Which was bad enough, except that even if you let the hems down (which Shani had) the skirts were all of ten inches long.
Yvan said it would bring them more tips. He was probably right, and Lord knew Shani needed them. But the scant piece of fabric that barely covered her well-shaped butt also brought more male attention—and that was the very last thing she needed right now.
So if there was anyone to blame for her current situation, it was Yvan. Backed-up against a kitchen counter, clutching a silver tray loaded with Louisiana crab cakes, trying to squeeze past the inebriated owner of the sumptuous house in which she was working tonight, all she could think was: there’s really got to be a better way to make ends meet.
60-Second Synopsis
Shani doesn’t need this gorgeous young stranger to burst in and help her out of a sticky mess with a grabby-handed client. She can handle herself, thanks. A whack over the head with a platter of crab cakes in tamarind sauces ought to do it!
But God bless him, smart, wealthy and sensual Elliot seems to have taken it into his head that Shani wants company, and to be honest, the freshly divorced mother of a toddler could do with a little sexual healing. But things get serious fast, which leaves Shani facing a dilemma: should she tell Elliot the truth about her life? What would he say if he found out the waitress he’s dating is actually a much-published history professor? And what if he knew her career collapsed over photos her malicious ex-husband published in a men’s magazine, photos that show her wearing nothing but a necklace and a smile?
You can follow Elliot and Shani on their quest to rescue her reputation, from the US to sensuous Martinique, while Elliot takes her to heaven and back.

This is a great cover and I can’t wait to read it< I was hoping that you could tell me what the book is about. Will be waiting on your reply.
Thanks
Oh, so sorry, for some reason the text didn’t appear with the photo! I hope it’s clearer now.
Yummy Cover! The book looks amazing. Can’t wait to order this title. I’m so curious if you came up with the title or if the powers that be…I love it.
No, it wasn’t my title. I’m really bad at titles, both for books and articles. My original title was Show Me Heaven, because there are references to the hero as being a rescuing angel. (I kinda liked that one, but the publisher wasn’t keen on religious overtones, so as not to offend anyone.)
Great book so far. I just downloaded it to my Kindle this morning. I have read about 35 pages and can’t wait to send my daughter off to bed so I can read 35 more. By the way, I still re-read Wonderful and Wild and Soul’s Desire every so often. Keep up the great work!
